ABOUT
Strength. Tools. Brains.
DanManTools builds practical software for people who sell and build for a living. Strong enough for the jobsite, useful enough to open every day, and smart enough to do the busywork.
The story
DanManTools began in the field, in Utah insulation sales and estimating. Juggling spreadsheets, sticky notes and generic CRMs that didn't understand construction got old, so we started building our own tools: a lead tracker that knows what a permit is, a takeoff that reads plans, and a marketing planner that shows profit instead of clicks.
Other contractors and business owners asked for the same tools. DanManTools was formed to build them properly, support them and keep improving them.

Built by someone who has done your job.
Dan Ray did not start in software. He started as a dishwasher, became a line cook at Snowbird and Timberline Lodge, then worked his way from a chocolate shop counter to owning the No. 1 store in the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory franchise system. He ran two catering companies, built a product brand during COVID and sold it on Amazon and Walmart, then spent eleven years in construction sales, estimating and project management. Every one of those jobs ended the same way: nights lost to schedules, quotes, invoices and follow-up. DanManTools is what he built to get those nights back, first for himself and now for you.
