What is DanMan Measure?
DanMan Measure is the measuring service behind the DanManTools takeoff apps. It reads iPhone and iPad Pro LiDAR room scans, Bluetooth laser-meter readings, DXF or CSV files, photos and walkthrough video, builds one model of the building, checks it against a tape measurement you enter, and sends reviewed quantities to your takeoff.

Enter one real tape measurement and Measure flags anything that doesn't agree before you price it.
Review, then approve
Every wall, ceiling and floor area is shown for review with a Verify flag where a number came from an estimate rather than a measurement.
Feeds your takeoff
Approved quantities flow into DanMan TakeOff and other DanManTools estimating apps.
How does it work?
- Capture the building with a scan, a laser meter or a walkthrough video.
- Upload the file. Measure builds the model by level.
- Enter a tape check and review the flagged items.
- Approve and send the quantities to your takeoff.
Every DanManTools app includes Coach Dan, smart upload, your own branding on what you send, and a downloadable backup of your data.

Do I need an iPhone with LiDAR?
No. LiDAR is one lane. A Bluetooth laser meter on any phone, or a DXF or CSV file, works too.
Are scan measurements exact?
Scans are close, not perfect, which is why Measure asks for a tape check and marks anything it estimated with a Verify flag before it reaches a price.
